Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port & Convention Center

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff kindly allowed us an early check-in around 12 noon at no extra charge. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. A special shout-out to the friendly front desk lady (I believe her name was Frizna or similar) for her helpful service. Breakfast was good, though the options were somewhat limited: cereals, hot oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, breads, waffles/pancakes, hash browns, fruits, juices, etc. The hotel's location was convenient, just 7-8 minutes by bus or car from the nearby beaches. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience—we'd recommend it!

This hotel is very convenient to the airport and cruise terminal. We stayed here the day prior to our cruise. We took a taxi to the hotel and used the cruise shuttle service they have available for transport to the cruise terminal. There were a lot of different pre-cruise guest staying at this hotel so it can get a little crowded in lobby during departure time. The rooms have a nice layout. No microwave, but they do have a mini fridge and a coffee maker in the room. There is a living space with a sperate desk for a workstation. The breakfast was very nice and offers a variety of hot and cold foods, fruits, and drinks. Staff was very nice and accommodating, especially the evening/night shift ladies. There are plenty of places to walk to for dining and shopping. I would highly recommend this location.

If a lot of people are checking in, its hard to get inside thr hotel because the desk is weidly close to the front door. They offered to store our luggage because our rooms would take 30 min or so to finish being cleaned. We waited more than an hour. But we did have a comfortable place to sit and wait. Opening the door to our room was delightful!!! It looks very open with a sectional sofa and footstool/sofa table. The sink is outside of the bathroom and the sink lights shine right in front of the beds (we had 2 queens). So maybe not the best layout. But the room generous sofa, desk, coffee bar area makes up for it. Plus there are restaurants 5 min by foot. And we'll be using the ship shuttle today. Oh I should mention, they have "real drink glasses and coffee cups" in the room. Breakfast was DELISH and served on real plates, bowls and silverware. Some of the food was in real pots (just off the stove). I really loved those touches!!!

Hotel has recently been updated. Staff are very friendly and nice. I was given an ADA room with 1 King bed. There is a sofa bed in the room. Room is spacious and has laminated wood flooring. There is a desk with table lamp right in front of the TV. A cupboard for coat and clothing. ADA bathroom with seat and adjustable height shower head. Sink is outside the bathroom. The window covering is remote for ADA room and the control is on the wall by the entrance. In room single serve coffee machine is available. There is a mini fridge. Plenty of power outlet and USB outlets for charging devices. Hotel has free breakfast for guests. There is a fitness center and bar next to the front desk. You can purchase Starbucks coffee at the bar. Location is good. About 8 mins on Uber from FLL to the hotel. Paid $12 for the Uber ride. Less than 5 mins car ride to cruise terminal Port Everglades, Uber ride $7. Walking distance to a shopping plaza with restaurants, LA Fitness and a Publix grocery store. There are Ross and Dollar Tree stores within walking distance. The rate at this Hyatt is higher than other hotels nearer to the airport. But convenient location.

Clean, efficient staff, and the room was amazing! We stayed here for a night after getting off a cruise and it was great to be within a walkable distance to shopping and restaurants for a day while waiting for our flight. The remodel is gorgeous and while there was construction, it ended around 8pm and did not affect us on the 4th floor. We did wait awhile for a room, but I'm pretty sure the upgraded our room because of it. It was very busy due to everyone getting on/off cruises. Decent breakfast, nothing to be excited about but a little bit of something for everyone. Would stay here again!

A great location. Good parking for a small fee. Comfortable beds. Excellent front desk. Several very good restaurants within a block or two. Brand new renovation in 2026. Everyone and everything is 5 stars. Except for the ladies who make sure the coffee runs out too soon at breakfast. Why? Thinking of taking a cup on the road after breakfast? Forget it. The urns are empty. Just an added word about Miami traffic. It is terrible, either 5 mph or a life-risking 85 mph in express lanes on highways. Lots of road closures. You never know if a 15-mile trip will take 20 minutes or an hour.

Nice, clean hotel with a convenient location near the cruise port. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very very comfortable. The staff has been excellent. There's a Starbucks right in the lobby and they have a shuttle that cost about $10 per person to the cruise port that leaves every 30 minutes. Very easy walking distance to several restaurants including outback, five guys, Taco Bell and others. Price point is a little steep but worth it for the convenience on a cruise

This is a great pre-cruise hotel. It's clean and updated. Nothing fancy, but has a decent breakfast to get you on your way. The have a shuttle service ($10 pp during my visit) that leaves every 30 min during the embarkation window time(s). I prefer rideshare. It's a quick 10-15 min ride. Easy peasy.
